About
Heyo.
My name is Cara Evans (They/She) I am a London based performance designer primarily working in devised and text-based performance. I love using design playfully as a way of visualising dramatic form and shaping the way people move. I am particularly interested in performance that plays with structure and form to tap into a visceral way of storytelling.
I graduated in Design for Stage from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts Farnham. I have also worked as a script reader for the Royal Court Theatre as a large part of my process is based in dramaturgy.
Previous Work includes: Sleepova (Olivier Award, Bush Theatre), Body Show (Soho Theatre), Living Newspaper (Royal Court, as part of the Design Collective)
